The Court of Accounts participates in the 30th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair- SIEL

The Court of Accounts is taking part in the 30th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL), which will be held Under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, from April 17 to 27, 2025, in Rabat, under the theme: “Audit and Partnership for Development.”
Through its participation, the Court of Accounts aims to continue raising awareness of its missions and constitutional competencies, and to highlight its role in auditing and evaluation in support of major State reforms and the enhancement of public performance, particularly through audits on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and efforts to promote the uptake of its findings by stakeholders at both national and local levels, in pursuit of sustainable development that aligns with citizens’ aspirations.
To this end, The Court of Accounts has prepared a program featuring a series of scientific conferences led by magistrates from the Court of Accounts and the Regional Courts of Accounts. These sessions will address the Court’s role in monitoring the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2015-2030) and the contribution of financial jurisdictions to improving the quality of local public services. The Court will also host a conference dedicated to the mechanisms for following up on the implementation of recommendations, their impact on public performance, and the improvement of services provided to citizens, along with a meeting focusing on its Control of the Use of Public Funds.
The program also includes a joint conference with the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, the Presidency of the Public Prosecution, and the Court of Accounts, on the topic: “Judicial Ethics: A Fundamental Pillar for Strengthening Trust and Credibility.”. The Court will contribute to this conference with interventions focusing on the Role of Professional Ethics in Improving the Work of Financial jurisdictions.
In parallel, and with the aim of promoting academic openness and enhancing audit practices through both theoretical and applied research approaches, the Court is organizing a series of meetings with researchers specializing in public financial control. A dedicated area will also be provided for the presentation of doctoral theses and academic studies focused on matters related to this domain.
The participation of the Court of Accounts in this international event aligns with the objectives of its communication strategy, further supporting its role in raising awareness among all relevant stakeholders, particularly citizens.
